Council appoints members to Planning & Zoning Commission for terms ending Sept. 14, 2027

Council voted to appoint Weldon Smith to one seat, Jerry Salyer to another and Colin Smith to the third; councilmembers recorded aye votes on each appointment. Planning staff will process the appointments and prepare commission orientation and meeting schedules.
The appointments conclude the month’s recruitment and will allow the commission to continue its work reviewing subdivisions, plats and zoning matters for the city.
