The appointment was carried as Resolution No. 220, introduced by Supervisors Tal and Hall, during a special meeting called by letter dated Aug. 19, 2025 that convened Aug. 26 at 9:45 a.m. A separate roll-call vote adopted Resolution No. 221 to appoint Janine Bickford as interim commissioner for a 30-day period while the county completes personnel processes.
