The committee approved a memorandum of understanding with the Soil and Water Conservation District to manage GIS software licensing for county departments.
Planning staff said the county handles central licensing for GIS software and that Soil and Water secured additional funding to purchase extra licenses. The MOU will allow Soil and Water to pay the county for those licenses (staff indicated the cost is roughly $1,600 per year per license).
Supervisor Straub moved the resolution to enter the MOU; Supervisor Wilde (recorded as Wyle/Wilde in the packet) seconded. Committee members approved the MOU by voice vote.
