Committee rescinds earlier CDTA nominees and names Liza Ochsendorf and Christopher Thomas

The committee voted to rescind Resolution 125 of 2025 and replace it with a new resolution nominating Liza Ochsendorf as the majority-party nominee and Christopher Thomas as the minority-party nominee to the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) board of directors.

A member explained the prior submission included a single nominee and the new action updates the board's official nominations. The committee amended and approved the resolution by voice vote; members said no executive session was required for the personnel-related portion described in the motion language.

The nomination will be transmitted as the county's official slate for the CDTA board.
