On Aug. 25, 2025, the Ulster County Public Works and Capital Projects Committee advanced Resolution No. 4-24 to authorize the chair to sign an amendment with the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie for space at 368 Broadway in the City of Kingston.
The resolution describes the space as on the third floor of the facility identified in the resolution (transcript refers to a “Bridal Stabilization Center” in the resolution text). Committee members said the tenant will renovate the space and that the Children’s Home has submitted renovation designs for review. Legislator McCullough moved the measure and Legislator Donaldson seconded; the committee voted unanimously in favor.
The committee did not discuss additional funding for renovations in the meeting record. Staff indicated designs had been submitted and that the agreement advances the renovation and occupancy process.
