The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors voted to adopt a package of resolutions at its Aug. 19 meeting that included grant acceptances, intermunicipal agreements, airport lease amendments and several sewer-district construction change orders, county officials said.

The board moved to adopt “all resolutions” listed on the agenda and approved them by roll call. Resolutions on the agenda included: agreements for in-home services for the elderly; acceptance of several state grants for health and youth services; an agreement with North American Flight Services Inc. and lease amendments for Saratoga County Airport; multiple change orders for construction work in Saratoga County Sewer District No. 1; and authorization to participate in national opioid settlement agreements, among others. The agenda noted budget impacts where applicable; many items were listed as having no county budget impact or funds included in department budgets.

Among the sewer-district items were change orders with Jerzin Construction Group LLC related to ammonia removal work and secondary clarifier updates, and a public hearing was set to consider an increase in the maximum estimated cost for the county’s biosolids digester facility. The board also authorized intermunicipal agreements with Warren and Washington counties for shared professional services on pedestrian-bridge and property-use matters.

Resolutions that would amend the 2025 county budget listed specific adjustments; for example, the board said it would amend the budget to accept $4,383 for a community prevention program grant and $2,424 for a child and youth special health care needs grant. Several items listed “no budget impact” and noted funds were included in the relevant department budgets.

The vote was taken by roll call after a motion to adopt all resolutions. The board’s roll call in the transcript shows a series of affirmative votes and the chairman declared the motion passed.

The adopted resolutions as introduced will now proceed to implementation through the responsible county departments, which the agenda identified (Health and Human Services, Public Works, Airport Improvement, Law and Finance, among others). Specific procurement or contract actions referenced in the adopted resolutions will be carried out in accordance with departmental procedures and the terms set in the adopted resolutions.
