Committee funds Saratoga 250 interactive exhibits, approves workforce budget and small local grant transfers

Saratoga County’s Law & Finance Committee on Aug. 13 approved funding and contracts in the economic development portfolio, including a multi‑hundred thousand dollar contract for interactive exhibits tied to the county’s Saratoga 250 Revolutionary Siege experience.
The committee authorized an agreement with Hyperquake LLC (d/b/a Potion) to design, create and install interactive augmented‑reality exhibits in two locations as part of the Saratoga 250 Revolutionary Siege experience for a total cost of $292,040. County materials state the project is funded in part by an American Battlefield Protection Program grant awarded in 2024.
The committee also approved the Saratoga‑Warren‑Washington Workforce Development Board budget for program year 2025–2026 totaling $327,040; the cost of that budget is shared by the three counties. Separately, the committee authorized a $2,635.02 transfer from the economic development grant reserve to pay a small grant for the Town of Greenfield.
Supervisors moved and seconded the economic development agenda and the items were carried without recorded floor debate.
