Presenter Sandy Aniston said the state allocation for the 02/2026 runaway homeless youth program is up slightly from last year to about $86,052; she said the county will retain 10% of the award to fund staff time for Rebecca Robarge and pass the remainder through to CAPTAIN, the local shelter provider. Aniston said Rebecca Robarge performs an annual day‑long monitoring visit with the state to stay involved with the program.
The committee approved acceptance of the funds and the agreement with CAPTAIN by voice vote.
