WIMBERLEY, Texas — The Wimberley City Council received a presentation on the preliminary fiscal 2025–26 budget, fee schedule and goals at its Sept. 4 meeting; staff said the draft is unchanged from the prior presentation and asked council for any revisions before formal adoption.
“Everything’s the same. So we’re just, you know, being transparent, bringing it back to you, and see if there’s any changes that you’d like to make,” City Administrator Tim Patek told the council.
Patek said staff plans to bring the budget to the council for adoption at the next meeting, Sept. 18. Councilmembers had no substantive edits during the Sept. 4 discussion and staff noted that keeping the draft unchanged preserves capacity in next year’s budget to address additional street projects.
The presentation covered the fee schedule and the city’s goals for the coming fiscal year; staff did not present a revised fee schedule at the Sept. 4 meeting. The council will vote on final adoption of the fiscal 2025–26 budget at its Sept. 18 meeting.
