Campbell County School District recognizes Educational Support Personnel and Teacher of the Year

The Campbell County School District honored two district employees during its August 2025 meeting: Jackie Golden was named Educational Support Personnel (ESP) Employee of the Year and Beth Fabian was named Teacher of the Year. Dave Bartlett and other district leaders described the selection process. Bartlett said the ESP selection committee received 25 nominations this year and narrowed nominees to five finalists for interviews; the teacher-of-the-year process had 51 nominations and was narrowed to four finalists before a committee chose one winner. Lenny Lehi, principal of Novak Elementary, introduced Golden and described her as “one of the district’s greatest assets” who lives the Meadowlark mission of knowing students and their needs. Golden accepted the recognition and thanked colleagues and family: “I am so humbled and so honored,” she said, praising ESP coworkers for their support. Thunder Basin High School Principal Mike Daniel introduced Beth Fabian, noting she has taught in the district for 22 years and has coached and led extracurricular programs for decades. Fabian, who serves as the district’s world-language facilitator, said teaching was her lifelong calling and thanked students and staff: “This is all I've ever wanted to do my whole life.” The district presented plaques and photos at the board meeting and asked staff and family to join recipients for photographs. Board members repeated thanks and acknowledged the role of school staff in supporting students.
