The Webster County EMS Advisory Council on Aug. 27 formed a bylaws subcommittee to review and recommend revisions to its bylaws, and tentatively scheduled its next full meeting in September.
Council members said the bylaws were adopted before the 28E vote and should be reviewed to ensure processes and membership alignment with other county commissions. Cameron volunteered, and council members appointed Cameron, Dan, Ian and Barb to the bylaws subcommittee. The council also discussed scheduling and decided to tentatively hold a meeting in early September so subcommittees can report and the council can forward the 28E framework and the EMS coordinator job description to the Board of Supervisors. The council set a tentative meeting date (Sept. 10) and agreed to circulate subcommittee agendas and draft language to members in advance to allow review before the next meeting.
The council closed the meeting by listing next steps: prepare the recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, finalize subcommittee membership and have county HR and the county attorney prepare documents for the supervisors’ agenda.
