Board approves consent agenda, including $859,044.58 in claims

At its Sept. 11 meeting the Johnson County Board of Supervisors approved the consent agenda, which included the payment of claims against the county in the amount of $859,044.58. The board voted 5–0 after a motion by Supervisor Fixmerize and a second from Supervisor Sullivan.

The chair read the public‑participation rules and noted public comment was at the chair’s discretion; no public objections to the consent items were recorded during the meeting’s public‑comment call.

The consent agenda approval was recorded as a standard administrative action and carried without separate debate.
