Oceanside presents 2025 regents, AP and state assessment results; district outperforms state averages in several areas

Oceanside administrators presented June 2025 Regents, Advanced Placement and state assessment results to the board, reporting strong performance in several subject areas and increased participation in AP coursework. Miss Pravito, director of curriculum, instruction and technology, said the district saw high passing rates on a number of Regents exams and described curriculum alignment work over several years as a factor in success on newly revised state assessments. At the middle school level, 110 students took the newly administered life science (biology) Regents and achieved a 99 percent passing rate, and 368 eighth graders took Algebra I with a 91 percent pass rate, the presentation said.
