City staff recommend Tetra Tech, CliftonLarsonAllen for CDBG-DR administration; Hagerty’s prior scope ended

City staff on Thursday said they will present a contract with Tetra Tech to administer the city’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG‑DR) work and a separate contract with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP to fulfill an internally required position tied to the grant.
Interim Assistant City Manager Jay Dundas described the items and said the CDBG‑DR scope is specific to Housing and Urban Development disaster-recovery administration. Nikki Reed of Community Economic Development confirmed Hagerty bid on the opportunity but that Hagerty’s prior scope of work under earlier recovery efforts had ended and the city sought a firm through a request for qualifications specific to CDBG‑DR work.
Dundas and Reed said Hagerty will continue supporting other recovery administration tasks, including FEMA Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program work, but that the CDBG‑DR contract being recommended is for Tetra Tech. Staff said Community Development staff are available to answer questions at the Aug. 26 meeting.
No formal contract award occurred at the briefing; staff will present the contract(s) for council consideration during the upcoming business meeting.
