Staff says district received proposal for medical director; recommendation to come to board

District staff told the Board they received a proposal for a medical director and that a recommendation will be provided at the next board meeting. Staff said the response was thorough and attributed credit to an employee, Ashley, for work on the procurement. No formal appointment or vote occurred at the Aug. 27 meeting; staff said they would present the recommendation and, if approved later, make the medical-director arrangement effective in an upcoming support meeting.
