The chair suggested that properly vetted field trips be approvable at the committee or policy level so schools do not need two meetings for routine permission.
No motions were taken. Staff said they will continue to realign grant management, finalize outstanding filings and return with clarifications on grant balances and any remaining commissioner network obligations.
