Batavia Chamber outlines fall events; Complete Fence introduces new local location

Representatives of the Batavia Area Chamber of Commerce addressed the council to summarize upcoming events and member recognition, and a local fencing company introduced itself to city officials and residents.
The chamber said nomination letters had been received for the Donna Dale Sasse Member of the Year award and announced that Richard Clark of Area Code Audio will be honored at the Chamber Cheers event on Oct. 2 at Grainology. The chamber also invited aldermen to an aldermen meet‑and‑greet on Sept. 23 at Windmill Grill and listed ribbon cuttings, a Tri‑City Business Expo on Sept. 17 at Eagle Brook Country Club, and other networking events. The chamber noted Batavia’s 70‑year membership milestone.
Two representatives from Complete Fence — Charmaine (residential general manager) and Dale (sales team) — introduced the company’s local operations. Complete Fence, a family‑owned, veteran‑owned company that began in 1976, described a new Batavia location at 940 Kingsland Drive and provided a business phone number, (630) 231‑9550. The company said it installs residential and commercial fencing, fabricates gates and offers gate operators, and that it operates regionally across multiple states.
Council members and the chamber representative encouraged local businesses and residents to attend chamber events and to support local business openings. No formal council action was associated with the presentations; they were given during matters from the public.
