Wellington library board adopts resource-reconsideration and data-privacy policies

WELLINGTON, Colo. ' At a brief joint session within the Aug. 26 meeting, the Wellington Public Library director and trustees approved two library policies: a reconsideration of library resources policy and a data privacy and immigration-related request policy. Library Director Ross told the board the revised policies were discussed at an Aug. 19 work session and that the packet language had been updated; no substantive public comment was offered on the items. Trustees unanimously approved both policies. Trustees said the library will continue to accept donations for the town's food bank and noted other library policy updates are forthcoming for future consideration.
