Key items approved on consent included: - Invoice list for Aug. 18, 2025, in the amount of $400,736.78. - A raffle license allowing ticket sales beginning Sept. 2 with a $100 single-chance price and a drawing on Nov. 1, 2025 (applicant listed as “Bennett Kennedy” in staff paperwork). - A contract for siding services with a listed contractor in an amount not to exceed $53,730 to maintain ditch systems throughout the village (contract was bid and sent to qualified area contractors). - A purchase order for a 30-yard Olympian leaf vacuum from Bonnell Industries Inc. not to exceed $195,258.80 through the Purchasing Cooperative America; delivery expected in 2026 for the 2026 fall program. - A concrete curb and sidewalk replacement contract with TCD Concrete Works Inc. in an amount not to exceed $71,904.75; TCD was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. - An ordinance granting a waiver of village open-burning prohibitions for controlled burns on Weil Park District properties for ecological management; the waiver runs through year-end with authority for the village manager to extend to match the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency permit period.
Clerk McQuillan called the roll; Trustees Duffy, Olson, Grau and Lesniak voted aye and the consent agenda passed.
