North Ridgeville City Council adopted Ordinance 2025-119, an amendment to the 2025 appropriations ordinance, and added an emergency clause at the meeting. The finance director had earlier briefed council and provided a memorandum outlining the amendment’s items.
The finance director said the amendment includes funding for an epoxy floor at Fire Station 2, repairs to a fire ladder truck, replacement of Windows 10 computers that have reached end-of-life, and configuration and support for the council-chambers AV system that also supports mayor’s court, as well as various personnel-related expenditures. Council moved to dispense with second and third readings, then adopted the ordinance with the emergency clause; roll-call votes were recorded as yes for each member.
The finance director also told council the July 2025 financial report had been issued that afternoon and would be available on the city website under the finance reports section.
Council did not request amendments during the meeting; the ordinance was adopted so the city can proceed with the listed purchases and repairs without delay.
