School board schedules work sessions on facilities and superintendent evaluation after Sept. 8 meeting

Dr. Boyd, the superintendent, said board members previously discussed hosting a pair of work sessions: the first to discuss facilities direction and the second to review and revise the evaluation instrument for the superintendent. A board member moved to add the work session immediately following the Sept. 8 regular meeting; the motion was seconded and carried with an aye vote from the chair.
Board members said they would prepare materials in advance; one member noted they hoped to complete much work before the session to avoid late‑night meetings. Another board member said a draft of the evaluation already exists and anticipated further board discussion during the work session.
The board did not set start or end times beyond holding the sessions after the Sept. 8 regular meeting and did not set further deadlines; the motion simply scheduled the topics to be discussed.
