Scottsburg’s Board of Works approved multiple pay applications for ongoing construction projects and voted to forward credits and debits to reflect change orders and contingencies.
Staff presented pay application No. 2 for the Lehi project and a pay app for Mid‑America’s South Park renovations. An engineer’s inspection was confirmed for the Lehi pay application, and staff said percentages of completion were acceptable.
During discussion, staff and board members noted that several line items (linear feet and similar measures) remained open until final field measurements were completed. Staff said there are additional product changes and contingency charges being processed; some balances were described in the meeting but several dollar figures were not read as definitive totals in the transcript.
The board then voted on a motion to move forward with credits and debits on the listed projects so they could be recorded and reconciled; the motion was seconded and the board recorded unanimous assent. Staff identified Rick Hegerman and Mary Grace as project contacts for technical questions.
Staff said outstanding credits and debit totals will continue to be tracked and reconciled to final project completion, then settled in a final accounting report to the board.
