Resident urges University Heights to open Purvis Park pool to Cleveland Heights residents

Branske noted that Shaker Heights had agreed to open its pool for Cleveland Heights and said University Heights could employ Cleveland Heights lifeguards who might otherwise be unemployed. She suggested expanded communication among the city and school districts and proposed combined programming among Purvis Park, Cumberland Pool and University Heights pool to offer more year‑round swimming opportunities.
Her remarks were part of the public comment section and no council action or vote followed that comment during the June 4 meeting.
