Jessica read HCCO-29, which listed reductions (for example, sheriff deputy reduction $3,000 moved to overtime community policing) and transfers in Superior Court 1 (part-time clerical reduction $12,000 to overtime $12,000). The ordinance also reflected motor-vehicle-highway fund adjustments tied to engineer and equipment-operator line changes. The councilwoman Lake moved approval; Councilman Cuthbert seconded, and the measure passed by voice vote.
Council members said the ordinance formalized the personnel-line adjustments they had discussed earlier in the meeting. The tabling of the maintenance personnel transfer in the transfers resolution remains outstanding and will be addressed separately.
