Paula Román, the consulate representative on Zoom, said the mobile unit generally offers passports, consular identification cards (often used for local purposes) and voter registration materials; powers of attorney and other services are not provided on the mobile visit. Costs to applicants: Román said passports vary by term (3, 6 and 10 years) with sample fees quoted in Mexican pesos converted in the discussion: notably she stated a 10‑year passport costs $203 (USD) and a consular ID about $40 (USD); voters' credentialing is free. Locations and logistics: Staff reported multiple sites under consideration: the San Fernando Aquatic Center second floor conference room, City Hall community space, Las Palmas, Valley Family Center, Elks/Valley Alarm building, Santa Rosa Church and other nonprofit spaces.
