Township fiscal officer Tina told trustees Aug. 11 that staff received bids from Indiana Oxygen and Premier for propane and fuel supply but asked the board to table a contract decision until the next meeting so vendors can correct a contract date that currently reads to 03/31/2025 and should be 2026. Tina said Premier supplied a renewed bid and that Indiana Oxygen cannot provide diesel or gasoline; she recommended waiting to finalize both propane and fuel arrangements. “We’re going to table that till next meeting,” Tina said, asking staff to get corrected contract language from vendors before trustees sign. Tina also reported that the Butler County Sewer and Water Conservation District selected the Morgan Township trustees for the district’s Friend of Conservation award this year and invited trustees to a dinner. The trustees did not take further action on the awards notice at the meeting. No contract was executed at the Aug. 11 meeting; trustees instructed staff to return the corrected contract language for approval at a future meeting.
