Taylor County Property Appraiser Shawna Beach presented the City of Perry's preliminary 2025 property tax roll at the Aug. 12 city council meeting, reporting a modest increase in total taxable value compared with 2024.
Beach told council members the 2025 preliminary roll lists about $262 million in real property value and about $105 million in tangible personal property, for a total of roughly $368.8 million — an increase of about $6.3 million, or 1.7 percent, over the prior year. "This increase in real property percentage makes it a more stable market for your tax roll," she said.
