Board approves two teacher contracts and records multiple staff hires and resignations

The board approved a 100% contract for Andrea Yitrick as a special education teacher at Riverview Middle School for the 2025–26 school year and a 100% contract for Joseph Golden as a biology teacher at Plymouth High School for the 2025–26 school year. The meeting record notes Andrea holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a master's degree from Marion University and that this is her second year of teaching; Joseph holds a bachelor's from Cornerstone University and is entering his fifth year of teaching. A motion to approve the contracts was moved and seconded and the board voted by voice in favor.
The board also received support-staff hiring and separation updates: Rachel Siegel was hired as a school secretary at Plymouth High School; Elizabeth Lau and Megan Hones were hired as special education aides at Fairview and Horizon elementary schools respectively; custodian Bill Dickfoss submitted his retirement after 10 years with the district; and several aides (Leslie Hernandez, Aaron Blomley, Jacqueline Hone, Julie Miller and Stephanie England) submitted resignations. The board did not take additional action beyond accepting the personnel items on the public record.
