The Laramie City Council on Sept. 2 approved its consent agenda by a 7-0 vote, clearing routine and project-specific items including minutes, cemetery deeds and vouchers. The consent agenda included agreements with the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for the Laramie South 287 project; a contract with Sunrise Engineering for the Bill Nye sanitary sewer project; a grant agreement for insect management; a letter of support for Gem City Apartments; a lease-purchase agreement for a fire engine; a secondhand-dealer license for Wear Again Boutique; and a temporary use of a Buffalo, Wyoming retail liquor license for an event at the Albany County Fairgrounds on Sept. 6.
On the regular agenda, the council acknowledged receipt of the Environmental Advisory Committee’s recommendation and approved an agreement for VOIP phone services; the transcript records these items passed by a 7-0 vote.
