Auburn council appoints Benjamin Woodhouse to Urban Tree Board

The Auburn City Council on Aug. 18 voted unanimously to appoint Benjamin Woodhouse to the Urban Tree Board for a three-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2027. Council member Tracy Taylor moved the appointment and a council member seconded.
Council member Tracy Taylor said she had the “fortunate opportunity to get to know Ben” and described him as “an extreme asset to the city” for his environmental awareness. The council asked if any questions or comments were forthcoming; none were raised and the appointment passed on a voice vote. Woodhouse was present in the audience when the council confirmed the appointment.
