Hunt County delays replat for Clear Vista Estates after residents raise flooding, drainage and density concerns

HUNT COUNTY — Hunt County Commissioners postponed action Tuesday on a proposed replat that would divide Lot 4 of Clear Vista Estates into four parcels after residents said recent filling of on‑site ponds has worsened flooding and created safety and nuisance concerns. County staff opened the hearing on the replat and said the subdivision meets county specifications but that historical civil engineering plans were not on file. Staff noted the tract is about 6.7 acres and that previous work on the property had already filled several ponds before the current submittal.
