City attorney delivers opinion on SRF loan; staff says paperwork complete and project can proceed

Miss Kurskovich, the city attorney, told the Tonganoxie City Council on June 2 that the legal opinion required after council approval of the SRF loan agreement for the wastewater treatment plant has been completed and submitted to internal firm review and KDHE (Kansas Department of Health and Environment). The signed original opinion was delivered to staff, and Kurskovich said the project will move forward.
She said the opinion required some adjustments after internal review, that KDHE provided final comments and that the signed copy was delivered to Dan (staff) the same day. No additional council action was requested at the meeting.
