Board names staff authorized to manage state reporting single sign-on

The board on Aug. 11 approved a form authorizing district staff to serve as local education agency (LEA) authorized representatives for single sign-on reporting and certification work. Pam, a staff member, said the form would allow Jennifer and herself to enter reports, certify information, make corrections and handle two-step authentication codes that currently go to the superintendent or other staff. "This form that I've attached to it would allow Jennifer and myself to be able to, continue to enter, reports in single sign on, certify them, add the information when they're returned, to be able to make the corrections, and work through that process," Pam said. Board members had no substantive objections; a motion to approve the authorization was moved, seconded and carried. Pam said the change is intended to streamline routine state reporting and reduce delays caused by multi-step verification processes.
