County continues conditional-use permit for alcohol service at game hall to Oct. 2

The planning and zoning board continued a conditional use permit (CUP) application for alcoholic beverage service accessory to a bar and game hall in a BU-1 zoning district. The request, brought by 5125 South LLC and represented in the hearing by Mr. Casciate and Mr. Wasserman, was continued at the applicant's request to the Oct. 2 Board of County Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Delaney moved to continue the item; Commissioner Atkinson seconded. The clerk's roll call recorded yes votes from Commissioner Delaney, Commissioner Atkinson, Commissioner Altman and Chairman Feltner; the motion to continue passed 4-0. The item was placed on the consent/continuance list, and planning staff noted the adjournment date. No substantive testimony or public comment on the merits was recorded at the Sept. 4 session.
