Driver arrested on suspicion of DUI after blocking Cameron Way intersection

At about 3:45 p.m. on the twenty-seventh, officers were dispatched to report of an intoxicated driver on Cameron Way; MVPD said officers located the subject blocking an intersection and took the person into custody. The arrest is important for traffic safety because the driver was reportedly blocking traffic at an intersection, creating an immediate roadway hazard. On-scene audio included an officer asking, "Do you see where you're at in the roadway?" and the subject responding that they were changing a tire. MVPD's monthly narration said the subject "was arrested and booked for DUI."
