The Thirteenth Circuit Probation Committee voted Aug. 13 to approve July 2025 bills covering LaSalle, Grundy and Bureau counties totaling $7,953.83.
Staff reported LaSalle County bills for July totaled $3,714.63. Line items highlighted included a Durie Inn hotel stay and out-of-circuit training expenses for a new probation officer, two months of the officer’s cell-phone charges, mileage and meals; the staff said the cell phone/two-month amount was $1,876.47 and the LaSalle subtotal was $3,714.63.
Grundy County’s July bills were described as usual and customary office expenses, including a $750.64 charge for an oil change and brake work on a county vehicle; total Grundy County bills were $1,610.93. Bureau County’s July bills totaled $2,628.27; notable items included Gooden Associates software maintenance for $2,035.50 and reimbursement for towing and a new tire for a county vehicle.
After the presentation, the committee voted to accept the bills for payment; the meeting record states "All in favor? Aye. Any opposed? No," and the chair said the motion carried.
