LaSalle County’s Insurance Trust Committee voted on Aug. 18 to approve two vendor agreements: an annual consulting agreement with Nugent Consulting and a two‑year claims administration agreement with CCMSI.

The Nugent Consulting agreement was approved on a motion by Savage, seconded by Billard. Committee roll call recorded "Bojo," Sandy, Gary, Greg and Ruther voting in the affirmative; the chair declared the motion carried. The contract sets Nugent’s flat annual fee at $35,600 to be paid in four installments beginning Dec. 1, 2025.

The CCMSI agreement was approved on a motion by Craig, seconded by Small, but the committee required an amendment to include the same conflict‑of‑interest clause used in the Nugent agreement. Legal counsel recommended that the CCMSI agreement be amended before final signature to align the conflict language with the Nugent contract. The roll call on the CCMSI approval recorded affirmative votes by Joe, Sandy, Gary, Greg and Aretha.

Committee minutes show staff will complete the proposed language amendment and return the finalized, signed CCMSI agreement for the record. No dissenting votes were recorded on either motion.
