Staff reported that the contractor returned to resaw and reseed the sides of the runway and taxiway where the profile had settled about three inches; they raised areas to about one inch before the rain and said grass growth is now evident. The commission received this as an informational update and took no formal vote.
A contractor representative identified in the meeting as the party for the runway project confirmed the final payment but no vote or contract amendment was requested at the meeting. Commissioners asked about utility and lease-related energy costs; staff said they would provide a follow-up on electric billing and usage at the next meeting.
No further actions were required at the session. Staff said they will circulate final project closeout documents when available and will present an accounting summary to the commission in a future meeting.
