The Select Board accepted two written resignations during its meeting. Michelle Petreides submitted a letter resigning “effective immediately” from the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals; the board moved, seconded and unanimously accepted the resignation. Separately, Brianna Walters submitted a resignation as tax collector clerk effective Sept. 1, 2025; the board moved, seconded and accepted that resignation as well. Select Board members said the tax collector position is being advertised and that there were already applicants under consideration. Board members noted the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals will have vacancies as a result of Petreides’ resignation. The chair said the zoning board is a three‑member board and must have at least one additional member to hold upcoming appeal hearings in October; the board asked staff to advertise and recruit applicants to fill the open seats.
