LaSalle County committee approves VSP vision contract and renews HealthJoy; insurance bills and reports also carried

LaSalle County’s Insurance Committee voted to approve the county vision plan renewal with VSP and to renew the HealthJoy benefit navigation platform, and it approved the insurance bills and filings reported by consultants.

On the vision program, the committee approved the negotiated renewal with VSP; consultants said they reduced an initial 9% request to a 4% increase and recommended staying with VSP. “We were able to get them down to 4%,” a Horton Group consultant said.
