HAMPTON, Mass. — The Hampton Planning Board approved two home‑occupation applications Aug. 27: one for laser‑cutting crafts at 88 Echo Valley Drive and another for administrative/woodworking activities at 111 Ames Road.
Scott Thomas told the board his proposed business at 88 Echo Valley Drive will be an appointment‑only laser craft operation that sells at craft fairs and online, with no customer traffic at the house, no signage and no delivery trucks. He said materials and equipment will be stored indoors and no outside equipment will be used.
John Angelica applied for a home‑occupation permit at 111 Ames Road to perform property management and woodworking tasks; he told the board the use is primarily an office for his LLC and light woodworking as a hobby without employees, with materials stored indoors and no regular deliveries.
Board members asked standard home‑occupation questions about customer traffic, signage and equipment; both applicants confirmed they would not have external signage, customers at the home, or employees. The board approved both applications by motion and voice vote.
