Fairview planners finalize signage, vendor rules and heat policy ahead of summer festival

Those changes are intended to improve wayfinding and accessibility on the city green, Staff member said: "So those are the main changes we are making," adding that the city would buy "about 15" feather flags and 10 large A-frame signs using capital improvement funds and would order them by June 30.
The additions include dedicated flags for the beer garden, kids' zone and the Chalk the Walk area; two flags specifically for the Chalk the Walk contest; and larger directional signs that will carry programs or vendor lists on the reverse side. Organizers said they will emphasize the event name as "Fairview Festival" or "Fairview Summer Festival" rather than the older "Fairview on the Green" branding to broaden appeal.
