Committee members noted the AI draft omitted or misstated attendee lists and some agenda details, and they asked staff to produce a shorter "bullet-point" version for council reports.
The committee discussed internal practices for editing automated minutes and the time burden of manual transcription; members said one full staff day had previously been required to produce minutes from recorded meetings. After a short discussion, the committee agreed to postpone adoption of the minutes pending correction and to revisit the item at the next meeting.
The committee also agreed informally that, moving forward, staff should produce a condensed set of high points for council reporting while keeping the full transcript and longer minutes available for reference.
The committee then moved on to other agenda items.
