Members of the Fairview Public Safety Advisory Committee on Monday discussed how to translate a city-level emergency operations plan into practical, household-level guidance and outreach for renters and homeowners.
The committee heard that consultant Stantec is drafting a new Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) expected as “EOP 2025,” and that the city will host a Spanish-language emergency-preparedness workshop on March 6 at Fairview City Hall. John (public works director) told the committee: “They anticipate the completion of EOP 2025. This will produce an electronic version and a hard copy for staff to periodically reference. ... The city will be hosting a Spanish speaking emergency preparedness workshop, March 6 at Fairview City Hall.”
