Board approves $1.95 million EDPA/CPV 3 Rivers surplus distribution for tax year 2024

The Grundy County Board voted to approve the EDPA 1 CPV 3 Rivers surplus distribution for tax year 2024, declaring a total surplus of $1,950,995 under the fixed‑payment schedule in a 2017 intergovernmental agreement.

County financial staff said the county will receive about $304,160 of the surplus, which will be distributed to the county general fund; the remainder will be distributed to participating taxing bodies in accordance with the agreement attached to the board packet.

The Finance Committee recommended the distribution at its August 25 meeting and the board approved the distribution by roll call.
