The board convened at 8:32 a.m. and moved into the public hearing at about 8:33 a.m. before returning to regular session and approving the exemption.
The exemption request was introduced during the public hearing. Board members expressed no objections during the hearing; the board voted 6 in favor at each relevant step. “They provide substance abuse to the community,” said the board chair during discussion of the request.
