Rossman Partners PUD hearing deferred while petitioner completes engineering

The Maryville Planning Commission granted a petitioner’s request to defer consideration of a conceptual planned unit development filed by Rossman Partners LLC after staff read a letter requesting additional time to finish engineering and related studies.
Sheila Shine, the planning and building director, read a letter dated Aug. 15, 2025, from Ross Brown asking that the petitioner’s attendance be deferred while Toringa Engineering completes preliminary engineering and any required studies. “Petitioner request that deferment until Toringa Engineers has completed his preliminary engineering and has received any other necessary documents or studies,” the letter states.
Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the deferment by voice vote; staff said no specific return date was provided and the petitioner should refile when the outstanding materials are complete.
