The report included a 10‑year graph of summer meal counts and highlighted a pandemic‑era increase in 2020–2021. Child nutrition staff reported they interviewed and hired five new employees for the department and processed two retirements. The committee did not record a vote on these informational items. Separately, the committee reviewed a renewal bid for Kemp’s Dairy to supply milk for the 2025–26 school year and noted a price difference between regular and lactose‑free milk; the procurement was described as a routine contract renewal.
