No public testimony at surface water management hearing; council schedules action Sept. 15

Silva told council the ordinance also “includes flood control mitigation as allowed uses of the funds consistent with state law” and proposes conducting a rate study every six years. The council accepted written testimony submitted in advance but the clerk reported no testimony had been filed for the hearing. No members of the public provided live in‑person or virtual comment during the hearing. The council closed the hearing and staff said the council was tentatively scheduled to take action on the ordinance at its Sept. 15 meeting.
