Cell-phone policy update: Superintendent Dr. Todd Bauer reported that middle-school principals have seen dramatic reductions in cell-phone conduct referrals since the district's updated policy. Dr. Bauer said PennDale went from about 80 cell-phone conduct referrals at the same time last year to 20 this year and described the change as evidence the policy is "not a thing" in daily operations.
